Because choosing a church is one of the most important decisions one can make in this life, we offer this webpage to introduce our congregation for your prayerful consideration. We historically confess that Scripture, both Old and New Testaments, is the only infallible rule of faith and practice. We believe that God is well pleased to build the church of His Son according to the purposes and methods He has revealed in His Holy Word.
We are a growing community of believers in Jesus Christ with diverse spiritual histories, who share a common story. Our spiritual hunger to know God and his Word more deeply has led us to the great truths of the Gospel as they were restored and restated during the Protestant Reformation. We consciously identify with those God used to renew, articulate, preserve and deepen those truths. We honor and claim Luther, Zwingli, Calvin, and Knox as founders of our understanding of Christ’s sovereign, saving grace. And we readily join hands in faith and ministry with those today who share this same testimony, all who desire to be nurtured and equipped biblically in the historic tradition of the Reformed and Presbyterian movement.
We believe that the Protestant Reformation restored the Gospel to the living church of Jesus Christ, and we strive, in the spirit of the Reformers, to believe and practice what the Bible teaches. We firmly believe that:
• The Gospel is never outdated.
• The Gospel never needs updating
• The Gospel is God’s once for all revelation of how lost human beings may be
reconciled to their Creator, in such a manner that God Himself receives
all the praise and glory.
Our Covenant God Exalted — We believe that Scripture based, Christ centered worship is our ultimate privilege and priority. We believe that Scripture governs and regulates our worship of the Triune God in spirit and truth.
Our Covenant Community Edified — We believe that Christ reveals in Scripture His ways for building His Church, such as pastors and teachers equipping the saints through teaching, discipling, Bible study and prayer times, along with biblical koinonia, where our members use their gifts to build up and serve the body.
The Covenant-breaking World Evangelized — We believe Christ gave to each of us a Great Commission calling to bear God’s good news in Christ to our neighbors and to be involved in the defense and confirmation of the Gospel. We strongly support, as our resources permit, those who are making Christ known to other peoples and cultures and to the university campuses.
As a fellowship we belong to a community of believers with congregations across the USA and Canada, known as the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). We are not affiliated with the larger Presbyterian denomination (USA). Unlike them, the PCA holds no membership in the National Council of Churches, nor in the World Council of Churches. Instead, we are part of the World Reformed Fellowship, an ecumenical organization which hold faithfully to the Bible as the infallible Word of God.
